Messiah in the Passover
Thursday, March 26th, 6pm
"Messiah in the Passover" is a powerful visual message not only of Israel's freedom from slavery in Egypt, but of the redemption of individuals from the bondage of sin through the atoning work of Jesus. The Passover has a significant role in the history of Judaism and Christianity. At the time of Lent, the Passover is remembered as being the Last Supper Jesus observed before his death and resurrection. We call this day Maundy Thursday, although due to the availability of Christian Ministries, we're celebrating a week early.
Join us for this powerful visual presentation.
Sunday, April 5th, 9 & 10:30am
Update: Egg Hunt & Picnic are canceled. Services will continue.
Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter, is the opening of Holy Week. This Sunday is the triumphal day that Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, people praised him and laid down palm branches (along with the clothes on their back) along his path.
Our Children's Choir will be singing during the services! If you would like your child to join, rehearsals will be Sundays, March 22nd and 29th after the second service. Lunch will be provided for the kids.
Friday, April 10th, 6:30pm
Good Friday is the day that Jesus died for us. We recognize this day mournfully. Our Good Friday service is quiet and reflective… leaving in a suspension that leads us to Easter Sunday.
Sunday, April 12th, 9 & 10:30am
He is Risen! We celebrate Easter as the day that Jesus conquered sin and death. We will have both services, with children's programming available during each service.
