The Kick Off

April 6, 1979 my life was kicked off in Lima, Ohio.

The Team

I am married to the most beautiful assistant coach in the world, my wife Angie. She is a true coach when it comes to raising our children, and trains them in the way that I could not be more proud of. Besides being an assistant coach in life with me, she is my best friend, and I just love going anywhere with her. The players on our team are our three children; Morgan our daughter that was born in October of 2001 is the captain in the realm of she loves being the mother hen, and making sure nothing happens to the other members of the team. Reese, who is our daughter that was born in January of 2005 , is the outgoing one that will just steal your heart by her love and fun loving attitude. Tanner who is our son that was born in June of 2006 is going to be the linebacker of the family.

The Locker Room

As a child I was always taught to make sure that I put on the right equipment when I am jumping out onto the field to take on the opponent (Ephesians 6:10-20). Although that is the case with every sport in life, it is so much more important in life, and I am so thankful that God has blessed me with the parents (Rock and Janelle Taviano), my grandma Marilyn Conrad who passed away last year, and some key mentors in my life that have trained me and taught me the severity of the love and impact that you can have on peoples lives if you arm yourself with CHRIST.

The Sidelines

Continuing to develop a deeper relationship with Christ, Spending time with my family, BUCKEYE SPORTS (no matter what it is, I am rooting for the Buckeyes), Sports of all kinds, Computers, Shopping (ya I know, I said shopping, it is usually in the sports stores) Concerts, Traveling, Life, Loving people until they ask why, and then loving them some more, making a positive impact on everyone I come into contact with, running big events, Will Rock 4 Food (annual concert that we started 4 years ago), and being unique.

The Field

Every day that I wake up, I choose to step on the field that God has given me to serve. I count it a huge blessing, and a huge responsibility to be the Pastor responsible for the students at Crossroads. When I lace up my shoes and head out onto the field, I realize the severity of the calling on my life, and need to have been practicing and training in my own life, so that I can impact the lives of these teens. A leader cannot expect his team to do that which he is not.

The Touchdown

The touchdown for me is seeing teens faith develop into their own.
