My Family
Love God, my family and my church!
I enjoy being with my dad Larry, especially fishing, and very proud to be his son.
Barbara my wife is my best friend and one of the smartest people I know. She loves God, spends a great deal of time with Him and pursues Him whenever she gets a chance. She is the best thing that ever happened to me and I am so very much in love with her. She has taught me so much.
Our son Kory (1984) is artistic, creative and inquisitive. He lives in New Albany, Ohio with his wife Cheri who is an amazing wife and mother with their two daughters Lily (2007) and Khloe (2010), our granddaughters! Kory is a graphic designer for HP, Graphic Design major, from the Columbus College of Art & Design.
Our daughter Katie (1985) is adventurous, compassionate and insightful. She lives in Lyndonville, Vermont and is a discipler/counselor in a teenage girl’s renewal home, Christian Ministry major, from Anderson University.
Our son Dillon (1987) is the funny, sensitive and intellectual one. He lives in Gahanna, Ohio and is a Manager for the Bose Company, History major, from The Ohio State University.
Our son Jacob (1991) is the athletic, studious and social one. He is a “momma’s boy” from the get go, which is actually a good thing! He lives at home for now but will be journeying to college very soon.
All of our children are walking and growing in the faith and we are so very proud of them.
What I enjoy
Hearing my wife laugh and being with her, the sun, the sand and the ocean, hunting shark’s teeth, history, more specifically military history and all that it teaches me, researching and building 1/35th scale historical (WWII) dioramas (come to my office), the outdoors, hiking and camping, working in our yard and around the house, Ohio State Buckeye football (athletics), and being a High School Football Official.
What I enjoy about being at Crossroads
The Crossroad’s community, the people I do ministry with, watching God journeys, sharing my story and seeing it connect with someone else’s story (especially men), meeting people’s needs through the bounty provided, serving others, teaching and sharing, living generously, watching others discover God, living authentically, baptism, worshiping freely, seeing the church impact our community and the world in a positive way, living by faith, transmitting hope, and being known by love.
What I don’t enjoy about being at Crossroads
Sheep often bite and kick!
