Made History (Well Kind Of)

May 9, 1961, in Davenport, Iowa. It hurts me deeply to know I’m not a true Buckeye, but a Hawkeye, What’s that about?

My Squad (Home Front)

My wife Barbara, my best friend, confidant and consultant. She is also my home projects manager. She resolved some complex angles on our gazebo project, thanks beautiful, you make me look good! She is a true picture of God’s words in the later part of Proverbs 31, I love you! Son Kory (1984), he is the artistic one. Loves life and what it brings in the moment. He married the love of his life, Cheri, who we've welcomed into our ranks. They have given us a granddaughter, Lily, and we are having a blast!

Daughter Katie (1985), she is the athletic, compassionate and emotional one. Sole female in the kid squad, need I say more! Son Dillon (1987), he is the funny one, really funny, loves history and a party. Can recite nearly all the lines from the movie Braveheart?! Son Jacob (1991), loves sports, TV, video games and the outdoors. I’m so very proud of you all!

Favorite Objectives

I love to hear my wife laugh. Take pleasure in being wherever she is. Delight in the fact that all of our children are walking in the faith. Love the sun, sand and the ocean, preferably all at the same time. Love history and all that it teaches me. Enjoy researching and then building 1/35 scale historical (WWII) dioramas. Thoroughly appreciate the outdoors, working in the yard and home projects (remember the gazebo). I love Ohio State Buckeye football!

Special Missions

Life has taken me so many places. It has brought me victories and defeats. God has allowed me to journey through places in life giving me occasions to respond to Him. He has brought me opportunity to experience His character, His touch, and His love in the event of life, no matter the circumstance. I have experienced a God who has seen my sin, chose to look on me with love, and He has watched me rise again. God has told me who I am. I am His. I love you Lord, thank you for bringing me to the Crossroads to complete a mission.
