My Home Court Advantage
I appeared on this earth June 1st, 1972 and Nebraska was my first training ground – “Go Huskers!” I got a great start in the game thanks to my loving Christian family who taught me through example. I accepted Christ at age 11 and have been His player ever since. Anderson University and Anderson School of Theology are two of my more recent training experiences.
What’s all the "Racquet?"
Apparently, on our first date, my wife Katerina was rather embarrassed by my high decibel laugh. Thankfully, it didn’t keep her from marrying me! Post wedding, Katerina quickly discovered that "loud" qualifies many areas of my life: loud voice, loud music, loud movies, but no loud shirts thank you. When we are not being loud together, we enjoy the quieter things in life like reading, walking, eating out and just being in each other’s presence.
Hailey Nichole, our first born, seems to take after her dad with a lot of loud jabbering, screeching and crying. We’re loving it!
Racquet Hobbies
I thrive on any sport that requires a racquet: racquetball, tennis, table tennis (otherwise known as ping pong) and even badminton. Wanna play?! I also like just about any sport that involves a ball: basketball, softball, golf and of course football! GO HUSKERS!
My Serve
I am passionate about helping people worship God with everything they have. I mostly do this through music, drama and other creative expressions. I also love to compose worship songs and minister to people through these songs. Teaching about God and about worship is another favorite way for me to serve. And when it comes to serving the larger community, I like to work with those less fortunate and bring them real hope.
Your Serve
I’d love to get to know you and see where you could serve at Crossroads Church. If you sing, play an instrument, act, run sound, or have another creative talent, come up and talk with me. It’s your serve!
